PE
Our aim is to offer a range of engaging, creative and exciting PE lessons which give the children the opportunity to learn and try new things, gain physical skills and also develop their skills of sportsmanship for future life. But also to give children a love of sport regardless of ability or fitness level.
Physical education is a priority at Easington Primary Academy which is why we invest in a qualified Sports Coach from First Steps Physical Education.
We teach a wide range of sports at Easington Primary Academy including: football, multi-skills, athletics, dance, dodgeball and gymnastics. We have invested heavily in our sports equipment over the last couple of years, including sports equipment for break times and the purchase of three brand new table tennis tables. We have also recently secured a table tennis coach to teach our children a new sport as part of our Sports Premium funding. This is deliberate as we will be able to get a team together to compete in the School Games in Autumn 2022. We ensure that children have access to a wide range of equipment at every playtime in order to develop their sporting skills.
